Nice morning for a run, cool and overcast. I figured out what I tripped over last weekend, when I tripped over the same manhole cover going the oposite direction this week! I chose a hilly route this week, very little flat, mostly up or down.
Disappointed with the weight this week, I did better with the calorie deficit this week, but I still struggle with the balance of carbs to protein.

Early run, now off for the group ride.
Great ride with the group for the first 38 miles, then a couple of us went on for another 35 or so. Lots of fun, a few hills and some good endurance. I'm a little suspicious of the elevation though. I know we did some climbing, but that seems like a lot. That is from hitting the reset elevation button.

Treadmill 1%
Well the morning is off to a remarkable start. I was hoping to ride the bike on the trainer but we had no hot water so I figured I would do a run at LA Fakeness and shower there. I get halfway to the gym and realize I left my gym bag at the apartment and had to turn around. So I squeezed in a speed session with some 400's.

Didn't sleep real well, but was really sleeping when the alarm went off so I bagged the morning workout for some extra zzzz's! I'll make it up after work.
Couldn't finish the month with a goose egg! Besides, Thursday will be a rest (sit all day on airplane) day so did a nice and fairly easy effort run. Pretty happy with the month, wasn't planning on swimming much and I hit most of the runs and rides. Not 100%, but nothing to worry over in January or February.
