Oh boy, just found out they moved Florida 70.3  from Disney down to Haines City Florida just down the road from my inlaws (2 miles)  I run on a lot of the run course when I am staying with them.  Lance is racing and it is flat, but probably hot.  Hmmmm, could I be ready by 5/20?

Hotel Treadmill 2%

As nice as the fitness room is here, there just isnt time with the agenda.  Leaving to head home mid morning, then to Florida for 10 day vacation (including attending a Jimmy Buffett concert Friday Cool!) tomorrow!  Yippee!

I think I finally uncovered what I did to my shoulder, when I travel I use a Under Armor duffle bag.  This morning walking out to the car I threw it back over my left shoulder, it has been feeling pretty good, and it just didn't feel right.  By the time I was half way home my shoulder was tight, felt like it had gravel in it and just not good.  I am guessing I did the same thing on one of my trips the week before it acted up the first time.  Hopefully with the preventive ice and Aleve it doesn't go all the way back to square one!

Hotel treadmill 1%

I am staying at a different hotel than I normally do to attend the conference I am at.  It has to have one of the nicest fitness centers I have seen in a hotel, with the possible exception of the Marquis in Manhatten.  The downside was that it was packed.  Fortunately I got there early enough to get on a treadmill as there was a wait when I got done.  If there is a break in the sessions I may head back there to take advantage of the weights for some leg work.  We'll see.
