10:00am - I'm not sure what I'm going to do for a workout today. My plan for this week and next is very fluid, as I recover from Cranberry and get ready for another Oly next weekend. This week I'm also busy with my kids, who start kindegarten tomorrow.
I had hoped to swim some laps this week, but my primary pool (Metrowest YMCA in Framingham) and backup pool (Atkinson Pool in Sudbury) are both closed for their yearly maintenance shutdowns. But, I found out today that a woman I recently met can get me into this swanky health club in Sudbury, since she works there on the weekends. I'm thinking that maybe I'll head up there tonight.
7:00pm - After dinner I went to check out the health club where my friend works. It has a nice, 6-lane 25-yard pool. Except for a few folks taking scuba lessons in the deep end of one lane, I was the only one there.

Rest day. Tomorrow I'm doing a "race simulation" workout with the triathlon team from the Arthritis Foundation, which a friend of mine coaches. We have a 1 mile swim, 20 mile bike and 4 mile run planned. Given that I did an Oly last weekend and I have another Oly next weekend, I may not do the whole workout, or if I do it will be at an easy pace.
Today I read in Max's blog that he and Cappy started this weight loss "accountability" thing, with each having a goal to hit by early January. Hopefully they'll let me play along, I need some motivation to get my a$$ back into gear as far as losing weight is concerned.
