7:00pm - My shins were starting to feel better today, but in the late afternoon I started having some strange tightness/soreness in one of my calves, so I decided to skip my run.  I figured that I'm better off resting instead of trying to squeeze in one more run before the race on Sunday.

8:30am - Shins still a bit sore today, I think I'm going to put some BioFreeze on them to make them feel better.  Plan for the day:

  • 4:00pm - Voting, then pick up my kids from school

6:00pm - After dinner, I went to the LBS and did some really cool shopping.  :)

10:00am - At my meeting with the health coach at work, I was shocked when the scale read 3 pounds heavier than last week.  The coach and I are both convinced there's something wrong with the scale (honestly, we are).  :(

6:00pm - My shins still hurt a bit today, so I took it a bit easier than I otherwise would have.
