This was supposed to be 3x400 has a main set. But during the first 400, my neck stiffened up bad. I stopped afterwards to stretch it and spent the rest of the time drilling.

Raining off and on this afternoon and forecasted for tomorrow.  Left the bike at the office and drove home.  Picked up my son from gardening class (he's a junior master gardener) and also picked up two sheet metal screws in my tire.  :(

I love mexican food!  Went out last night for supper.  Fresh guacomale (sp?) made at the table, fresh tortillas and a couple of enchiladas.  Yummm.  Of course, my belly always feels huge afterwards and I end up thinking maybe I should get something different next time.  I think the enchiladas do me in.

Brought my bike to work today.  The game plan for the week is to ride my bike to and from work.  I'll leave my truck at the office in case I need to go to a customer's site during the work day.  It's about 15 mile from the house to the office AND our office building has a shower down the hall.  Got to keep a close eye on the weather reports.  And I'm trying to figure out if these rides should replace the scheduled rides for the week.  Maybe, but not the weekend ride.  We shall see.

I bought a Suunto T3 watch/HR monitor on ebay yesterday.  $76 total compared to  $130 + tax retail.  I like the features it has, plus I can add Pods to it at a later date to improve the functionality.  Next on the list will be a PC pod to upload the info.

Went almost to the office this morning down Independence. Nice road, more down hills coming back then going and that threw my time off. I was supposed to get 1:30 today.

Anyone remember the movie in the 80s (I think) about Los Angeles after an asteroid had passed really close to the Earth?  The asteroid sent  some cosmic rays that killed everyone except people who were protected underground.  There were a couple of teenagers (one a girl that had the high score on a video game) that were driving the cars all over the place.  No traffic anywhere.  I was thinking today that every once in a while it would be nice to ride my bikes on the city streets without having to worry about cars.

Joseph bought the Legos Star Wars Wii game with his b-day money yesterday.  It is a great game!  Adaptive levels (if you play like you don't know what you're doing, the game gets easier), the ability to go in and out of a game (great when the 5 & 6 yr old sisters want to play, no they don't, yes they do) and of course Legos.  If you get hit with a light saber your Lego man flies apart.  No death, blood or gore; just flying Legos.
