Ran with Annita on the treadmill. Hard speedwork day. 3 minute walking warm up
1/2 mile jogging warm up
8X (300 m faster than race pace with 3' RI (RI = 2 minutes walking 1 minute jogging, 1 minute getting up to speed)
3 minute jogging cool down

Beautiful day! Great ride out at WRL with TNT, we only had time for one loop though :-( Got up to 20mph in some places, but I'm a total wuss on the curves. I think I could have stayed out there all night.....
Talked my running partner into changing our workout to tomorrow morning so I could catch some extra zzzzz's.
Bike ride at White Rock tonight, I can't wait!

Rest day.
No time for workouts tonight, we went to see Andrew Bird at the Gypsy Ballroom. He was fantastic, although, Seth and I were both very sleepy by the time he came on stage (11 pm - an hour past my bedtime). He played a great set, but we left before the encore, we were tired and still had a 45 minute drive home ahead of us :-(
March 13
Ran on the treadmill with Annita. Experimented by eating a Gu before I started. It may take a while for my body to get used to those.
The run felt great though, I'm really getting to the point where I wish I didn't have to stop at 50 minutes. Heart rate was very stable, barely went above 165, and if it did, it went back pretty quickly:-D

March 12
Swim with TNT tonight. Did more yapping than swimming, but it was fun to share triathlon stories and experiences. Tried to kick on the wall while I was chatting away. The next couple of weeks I've really got to bite the bullet and get some good workouts in.
March 11
Nice easy bike ride, took the long way, to Annita's and back. It was a nice day and I figured I should take it a little easier after my tri on Saturday.
One good thing, I'm way more confident about my pedals in traffic now :-)

Met Kevin up at WRL at 8:30. Did a 5.75 mile warm up to Mocking bird and met the Summer team at TeePee Hill. After that I only had enough time to go around the lake once before I had to leave for softball practice in Allen. It was a great ride.
Ran over to where Annita lives. It was a really pretty day. Rigged my Nike Ipod thing (finally) and ran. It's a little bit off, or maybe the error is in my rigging. It said I ran 6.5 miles., which was my goal. Mapping it out today it looks like it was off my a mile, which makes me a little sad. It was a nice run though, and a beautiful day. It was nice to see all those people working in their lawns. The route worked well, and I know I can make it longer if I'd like to in the future.
Warmed up by throwing the ball. I could tell my back still felt a little tweaked though. Had a little batting practice and then I had to leave for a hair appointment.
