Just doesn't feel like a workout...These 45min -1 hour sessions, quite boring. Still no word form the insurance. I've pretty much given up at this point. Trying to focus on other things like my new job coming up and trying to find a cheaper apt. TGIF -have a great weekend and good luck to everyone racing this weekend!

Good swim, foot is hurting today, not sure why. Left msg. w/ the doc asking how to proceed if the ins. denies the MRI. Can't imagine walking around like this for the next few weeks. Very annoyed! Guess we'll see. Happy training peeps -

Workout -boring! But, found out I'm probably getting my bosses job today (he's retiring) and just got a lead on a new apartment -perfect location/price and still in Manhattan! Woohoo! UPDATE: Well I was offered an "interim ED" position till they can conduct on "offical search" of which I have to interview for as well. hmm, my ego was bruised a bit but I know why they have to go through all of this, I just hate having to jump through hoops for a job am pretty much already doing. Anyway, still waiting to hear back on the apt. keep ya posted!

Good swim w/ drills. Too many people in the pool though, so weird how it goes in spurts. Just felt good to be swimming and working out. Will do some weights tomorrow and just keep alternating. NO word yet from ins. on heel MRI approval, doc says if it was PF I should be much better by now, but still feeling pain so must be stress fracture -whatever, either way I'll just keep off as much as I can for another month. Changing our Philly Marathon numbers to the 1/2 :( -Oh well...

Hip MRI done - results were normal, Still waiting for approval on foot MRI. In the meantime I have my limp technique down, I can clip a pretty good pace. HAHA -I'm excited about a fast limp, funny how quickly things can change. So....I'm signing up for masters swim starting in Sept. (3X a week), I figure if I'm gonna be swimming that much I might as well push myself and these classes will do that. I only took once a week in the spring and it was tough!Keeping hopeful that if I stay off the foot throught the end of the month I can start back slowly in Sept. and still manage the 1/2 mary in late Nov.

Yesterdays workout just aggrivated the hip and foot. Staying home to rest, will start swimming and weight training (minimum)alternate days on Tuesday to see if I can manage that. Dammit I want to be better!
