Two Ironman Season

You want to know why i love oklahoma!?!? Currently it is 35mph constant winds with 45-55mph gusts!!!! When it wasn't windy this week it was raining. Now that it's sunny out, you can't walk outside without getting blown away!!!
The tri gods are against me! I got up again this morning to go swim. I even called at 5 am before i left to make sure the pool was open and everything. I get there and there is no lifeguard!!!!! I wait around for 15min and still no lifeguard. So i go home and try to go to sleep. Right about the time i'm falling asleep the alarm goes off!!!
It sucks to get up in the morning and workout. But it sucks WAY more to get up in the morning and drive to the gym and find out that you can't workout!!

Good swim today. It felt good to get back to some hard swim workouts. Well at least faster paced workouts.
Run at lunch...Yeah it was short, but the rain was about to hit and i didn't want to get drenched before i went back to work. Tempo on the way out (7:21/mile) and a good constant pace (7:35 on the way back

Well i started out feeling good and then it went down hill. I was trying to keep my HR low and it was way higher than normal. On the way back i was slowing to 8:45 pace and it was still 180+....so i don't know what the deal was. Oh well i'll just say i was tired from the mountain bike ride yesterday.
