Nice easy spin on some real flat roads near home. Nothing strenuous at all just spinning.
Lots of stuff to do today so I will not get to the strength training, but I did get the bike ride in this morning.
Felt pretty good to get in a good paced run on the treadmill. It was, unforetunately on a treadmill, which I hate. It was, however, nice to know that I can maintain basically 12' pace for at least 90', but probably pretty much indefinitely.
Good ride. Quite a bit more than the plan called for, but after the week off, I need to get things going. It looks like this weeks training is a rest week, so I will step things up a little over the plan to get back on track.
Yep, that is an entire week with no workouts. Since getting back from vacation in Sedona (for 10 days) I have been tied to my parents house -- they had their entire house re-floored with porcelein tile and hardwood laminate. It sure makes a difference in their house over the carpet and vinyl, but it sure killed my training.
I am now back to training and really need to stay on track until the 1/2 IM in September.
