I've been too damn curious about my HR, so I strapped on the HRM to see how it's going; still too high; out was mostly Z3, back was mostly Z4. Back to ignorance.

saw my PT on Tuesday and we tweaked my mechanics a bit; he said I still need to use my quads more. Also, I'm supposed to minimize the time my feet are on the ground. In my mind I think of the correct stride as "knees out front". I feel almost like I'm prancing.

Today's run went well, feeling it less in my glutes than before. I guess that's what we're looking for.

I feel like each stride is propelling my further.

fell off the damn rollers again! Had 3 minutes to go; almost got back on but then just said frack it!

Keep a nice steady, easy pace on the trainer. Enjoy the recovery week!

had an appointment with the physical therapist to get a checkup on my running form. He praised me for my "marked improvement", but told me I had more improvements to make. He ran me through some changes and wants to see me back in 3 weeks.

very windy, hard effort; mostly headwind early, mostly tailwind later (really shows in the lap speeds); considering the wind this was a pretty good ride (about 3 minutes slower than last year's race)
