Something like 2500 of WU and drills!
The choo-choo train (6 x 200. Even on 1:30/100m, odd 75 hard and 125pace)
3x (25kick side-25 godille)
2x25 hypoxic against Pierre.
Shittiest ride ever. Hit a wall of rain. Cold temp. Crap. Went home before the end and took a hot shower.
Slow.
While talking on the side of the pool.
It's windy and raining, and dark. I've seen better. If I was a reasonable person, I'd be in bed right now...But if you're looking for me, I'll be in the pool, dammit. Work, and then ride with the crew. Not sure of the plan though. Must be long Z1?! Jeudi en groupe à 17h, technique pédalage et enchaînement au Parc Technologique 5x (2’ course + 1 tour vélo technique 1’ jbe gch - 1’ jbe drt - 1’ les 2)
Few precisions : The Kuota doesn't crack anymore, it's new again. My shoulders don't crack either, especially after the unexpected massage, but *I* am not new...
I'm sore like hell.

No time to sleep in this choppy water!!! The waves were big compared to what we have usually. Wore the wetsuit since it was cold this morning and was glad I had it at some point when we got the water temp dropping noticeably during 5 minutes.
Back of the left shoulder was sore after 3-4 minutes, again. Nothing new there but I highly wonder WTF!?!?
While reading some stuff.
Napped 40 minutes of my 1 hour lunch. :)
Stretching 2 : After run with Pierre and Andree-Anne. Ouch... Shoulders and hamstrings.

Baaaad night of sleep. Going for an OWS with Pierre and coach. I'll try not to fall asleep in the water and do like what happened recently at the NY triathlon...
Run after work with the crew. Intervals on the menu. Yumm.

Met the team at the University and rode to the Parc technologique. 1 loop warmup. Plan was 4 x 1 loop with 3 x 1:30 race pace w 1:30 active rest. Drafting was allowed. Between each loops, we had to go into transition area, get off the bike at the line and run to our spot and put the running shoes.
Lots of wind today. The 1:30 in the wind were at 35kmh (22mph) and tail was about 34mph (!). FUN!!! We were 3 following each other and taking one pull each, each loop.
Slllooooowwww run. We had to wait for everyone, each loop. We ran a bit longer each time to make it even with the others.
While reading some work stuff.
Update : Lots of sleep but the quality wasn't impressive. I woke up with a lower back discomfort. On the good side, my bike is ready and I went to take it at lunch. Very good since I'll be able to practice with it tonight.
Skipping this morning's swim to try to gain some sleep time back. Tonight will be ride and run with, again, some T1-T2 practice.
The Kueen-K is at the tri shop. On the schedule is a check up to find 2 different noises (I may be the one hearing it and not the bike doing it!), add a little something (that I don't know how to translate) to the chain so I can take it apart alone and clean it as needed, take one spacer out and replace a screw for the seat adjustments.
I got carried away a little yesterday...

Apparently, very good McCartney free concert last night. Between 200 and 250000 people were there on the Plaines d'Abraham to celebrate the 400th of Quebec with the ex-Beatle. Always fun to see the place you live in is still alive.
Rest day today. It's been a pretty big week of training, without too much incidents. Lots of T1 and T2 practice. I went to see a running specialist (not a MD though) and got great advices. I don't know if the advices were great or it was the fact he said what I wanted to hear... Verdict : I can still run but I'll lose the running flats for a while (except on race day) and put back in the insoles. On the happy side, I realized my left Achilles felt fine for the last 2 weeks or so. YAY!

Nice fast ride by myself. Left knee was cracking but nothing new...
1 Cliff bar after 45min
6 shot blocks (Lime-->yuck) after 1h30
1 chocolate GU (yum!)
1 bottle water and 1 Cytomax
OWS in the lake to cool down a little after shed project.
Wanted to run 15 but came back earlier. Running in my swim suit isn't a good idea anymore and before left achilles wakes up again.

Lots of buoys, water polo swimming and fun. All that came in a 50m format. :)
4 ez loops.
Worked again a lot on transitions. I was fast.
WU = 10 ez
4x 4min race pace +
Giddyup! Big day today. Swim at 9, in the 50m setup and we'll add buoys. Coach didn't want to go to the Lake due to dermatitis hitting lately. Then, taking the bike to go to the Parc technologique where we'll bike and run. Lots of interval fun and T1-T2 practicing.
For you US people, no worries if you see a Quebecer invasion, the "vacances de la construction" started yesterday. That means half of Quebec's population are on vacation!

Was supposed to run 30 minutes like coach asked with 10 minutes Z2 but my 2 overzealous friends made me run longer. I ditched them at some point and came back and they continued until 60 minutes.
Little discomfort in top left knee. I'm still fighting something. I hope it doesn't get out tomorrow or on race day.
Update : Got some nice nap in. I'm supposed to go for a 30 min run with 10min Z2. Supposed is a nice word. Don't feel like it. Then, I'll go at Pierre's appartment to clean the bike. Tomorrow is departure for Magog with a few club members.
Meh.Re-Meh... but at least I leave work at noon ;)
