10 minute warmup.
12 x 50. First lap is fists, focusing on a strong catch with high elbow. Second lap is regular Z2 swimming focusing on the same thing. Lower lanes do 6.
4 x 50 Z2 kick on your side or your back.
4 x 500 descend by 500. The first is easy, perfect freestyle, relaxed, somewhere between Z1 and low Z2. Next one is Z2. Next Z3. Last one Z4. It's OK if you don't make it to the Z4 one⦠that's not the purpose of the set! Do it as written- lower lanes don't skip to the Z4!
