Where ALL the lights on red this morning? Oh well. Still enjoyed it.
I think the lights are being vindictive about that fast ride home the other day....

To work. Mild and damp morning. Crossed one section of bike path where a drain had overflowed and left the tarmac as slick as the Passage du Gois after high tide! Don't touch the brakes!
Home. I believe that is a new record for the commute ;)
Righto. The old logging and blogging has been a bit lax the last few weeks. Oh well. Life gets busy from time to time.
Ordered some new rubber and wheels for the fixie as the new style Vittoria Randonneurs are no match for the old ones in terms of puncture resistance. Wheels were coming up for renewal as both front and rear had a nasty 'pot hole bulge'. Got a cheap pair from On-one. Lets see how I get on with those. The new rubber is Continental Gatorskin Hardwall. I've had no punctures on my GP 4 Seasons and as these are more hardcore hopefully they'll be up to the commute. We'll see.
And for the ill informed here's the Passage du Gois.

To work. Damp but warm. The Passage du Gois was actually flooded today. Pleasant.....
Home. I was flying in places. Thank you wind.
