Ok, for anyone who is looking, my race number will be 2. Go figure, that is more like how close to the back of the pack I will finish. Going for a strong race tommorow. The bike course has been changed due to construction. About 4 miles have been shaved. The best part is some of the worse hills are gone. Going to make it much faster. Looks like it will be very warm and humid, but I am as ready as I am going to be.
A few more side notes. This race is not using timming chips. It will be up to me to remember to hit my stop watch for splits. This will make it harder to check on my progress with the field.
Good news, got a nap while watching the Tour. Bad news, have a sore back for over 3 hours from how I slept. Will drink one beer to help sleep and the back. If all else fails a couple of ibuprofin when I wake up.
Going to enjoy this race at all costs.

On the trainer for a light workout. nothing special. Wanted to do a brick with the run, but time was at a premium. Plus I lost the drive at the last minute. Will try to run tonight, and if I must tommorow AM

Had a great weekend with the family...till the ride home. Long story short, forgot to pick up the second car at the in-law. We were suposed to go out to eat, but brought sea food in. Decided to run to get the car 20 minutes after finishing my feast. Short digestion time, fried foods and hot weather do not mix. Had to walk for about 5 minutes every mile to get the gas out. Not fun, but not terrible either.
