Ok, this ride realy realy sucked! First off I intended on gettng out of bed by 5 AM to get a 3 hr ride in. That went to hell when I could not wake up due to not falling asleep till about 1AM. Got the bike stuff together and headed out. Just got the bike back from a new bearing and a tune-up+. Less than a mile in the index shifting went to hell. It would not shift one gear at a time and would not always keep a gear. The kid must have been asleep when he put the bike back together. NOT IMPRESSED. My revised workout which started at 6:40 and was going to be 1.5 hrs. became an ultra short workout. The only good thing was I got a chance to check the milage of the run I did on Thrusday. It was not 3 miles but 2.8, so I will have to revise the blog. Oh well, I knew the pace was too good to be true :)

OK I think this was a 3 mile run. Ran it last month with a guy from trifury and we went 15 out and 15 back. Geuessed it was about 3 miles. With that pace I will have to drive it to find out for sure. Definatly felt very fast.

Nothing like setting the alarm for 4:30 and having your son stairing you in the face when you role over to hit snooze. Took him back to bed and rubbed his head. I think I was asleep first. Lost all drive for a 2 hr bike after that. Oh well there is always tommorow.

distance was a good guess. Went to story land with the kids. Got the chance to run from Deer Park to Loon at sunset. Boy was that pretty. Only problem was the return down hill was in the dark. hard to see the sidewalk with cars comming and there lights were on. Did have some cramping at the end, but almost ran a faster return trip down hill than the first 4. missed by 30 seconds. had enough in the tank to go the distance
