had to work my tail off to keep the pace, with the exception of one mile split that went to hell, I could have gotten a PR today. Will need to rest a little to get fresher legs.

135 cars at todays, will see what tommorow brings in. Have 2 more for Sat. and that brings the week up to 10, a months worth of work this week. Good thing the grass is not growing yet. Big boss went to sell another lot at the end of the day, not sure if it is preneed or not.

Sorry for venting here, just keeping my thoughts in order for next years comparisons.

Drainer ride with pyramid hamminging from little to larger gears in 1 minute and 45 second intervals. Finished with a cruze. most of the ride was in aero.

No workout as of yet

Work update. Stress is down, business is still getting stronger. 2 more for friday. At this rate we will do more services this week than most months :) Next two days will be interesting. The big boss will close the cemetery at 8:30 to motor vechiles till the 12:00 funerals arive, never see that before. I am guestimating about 100 cars tomorow. Families are being asked to carpool. how strange is that. Still too sad, at least I am getting back into the " it is just a job and a number mode". See how tomorow goes.

Hope to get a ride in while the kids are eating. that is the plan at least

Ok crappy workout. Got up just a little late and wanted to go bact to bed. Said "your up...go" Slow out of the house, so the 6.3 mile run became a 4.7, then decided to go 4 on hills only. Got to work parking lot, got my gear together, opened the door, closed it, with me inside and left for the garage instead. Got up the the gararge and said I would at least streach. Decided since I was dressed for a run to do some windsprints up a steep hill. Milage approxamate.

TMI time again, just venting about work.

As said on Sat, I had a bad day with that funeral. Then comes today. 5 inbound. 2 16 year old kids killed on the highway, most likely due to speed. They should not have been in the car together for at least a few more years due to state law and new drivers. So we have dug 3, one may be off by 3 ft due to a clerical error. Have two to dig tommorow and one to service. Wed. has 3 funerals, one of the kids, Thurs is the other kid. Not to mention a cremation for sat, which I will not take.  Just starting off on the wrong foot this week. Just taking these young people very personaly this week. Just need to get a few more ancents in to ballance the scales. :)

On a happier note I am just under 63 % done on the March multi challange. I am at 220.3 pts out of 350 with 11 days to pick up the slack.

Probably the longest drainer ride for me ever! Decided since my wife was going to retire early due to a double shift yesterday to hit the drainer. Wanted to ride to the screen writers version of pirats. By the time I realized how long the movie was and how long I was on the bike it was just over 1/2 over. Decieded to put the countdown counter on the DVD player and keep going.

TMI alert.

Unrealated work issue. Had a tough funeral at work today. Trying to just let it go. 34 year old woman, two kids 5 and 2 went to bed and the quote was "daddy, mommy is cold". Can not get the feeling out of my head. Can identify with a wife turning 34 next month and a 6 and 3 year old up stairs sleeping. Just the big downside of my job. Will take me awhile to shake the immage of the 5 year old's ride in the limo to the cemetery, taking it all in. Probaly his first funeral, and possibly his first trip into a cemetery. Can not immagin the greef of that famlily, but my brain keeps putting me there.

On the other had, the job works for our family and the rewards when the family mebers come up and say thank you is priceless. We all have our preverbial crosses to bear, and I just needed to vent. Boy can a 2+ hour workout help with the release.

Lake run, had the time for twice the milage, but balked. Could not get up for a longer run today. Decided to salvage the run with some speed work since I had extra time. Not great, but still a workout.

No workout yet. Hope to get on the drainer tonight and streach out the back and legs. Feeling better tonight. This morning my back was still toast from a poor posture lift yesterday. Live and Learn.
