distance was approximate. This workout served it purpose. What I wanted was
a)first bike ride since the surgery
b)work up a sweat
c)get the Garmin quick mount set up on the watch and bike
d)play with the Garmin to learn it a little better
e)track my HR, even if it was on the CT
Mission accomplished

long day of making lemonade out of lemons. Had a big day planned. Birthday party at noon for my son to go to. Canceled on the account of rain. It was not a big deal to me, but it would have been nice if we did not get to the party and find a locked building and no cars. Oh well.
We were to go from the party to Boston to BosTix and see Blue Man Group. No dice. Then forgotten meds got in the way. That and since we were not eating at the party, a lack of food caused a mood change. Well, back home we went. We stopped at the 99's for lunch, scrubbing a trip to Fire and Ice. So much for the best laid plans.
After our collective composure was back, we ended up deciding to go to the movies in Nashua. Was not quite the dare to be great moment I was looking for on a boys weekend, but oh well. As we entered Nashua, I offered up a trip to Fun World. I had knocked it down before, but decided to bring it back up since we were literally 1/2 mile away....GAME ON!
Only spent $20 on tokens and played for almost 2 hours. Not to mention, my son hit for 800+ tickets twice on a game. Thus we broke even by taking home some cool prizes.
Got the heads up a new Red Robin had opened at Pheasant Lane Mall. Of to dinner. Only a 10 minute wait at 7 PM. Other than Ben being over tired, we had a great day. I believe Ben's exact quote was.."Dad you scored big today!"
EXCELLENT!

Got parts for my weed whacker, but need to go back for a primer ball tomorrow. I think it wants to start, will see.
