All felt good, and no ressure on foot. Had to isolate myself from the dogs, or they thaught that I was trying to play with them.
Short stretching sessions to keep my sanity, and helping me a little. My body so ready to resume. Guess it forced me with a mental and physical break between both season's.
Well, not much to add today.
Going mentally insane and restless from not training, and can't wait to get back into it. Just doing what I can do without using my feet.
Doctors appointment went well tonight, and all going on the right track. Foot healing nicely, and drainage has stopped. So now, on the home stretch as she mentionned.
Still no swimming, running or cycling until the hole is completly sealed and draining stopped. She says that I may be able to start cycling (Need new shoes that fit so no pressure; maybe Santa will do that!) Once the hole is plugged, I can also start swimming and short runs no longer than 15-20 for the first week, then go up to an hour after that. So looking until January for full training. Time to update my training schedule with that.
Well, Tri-kids, enjoy the training that I can't do. At least, she educated me on what to do with blisters in the future. I will make sure that I follow those advice. Cheers!!
PS. It's snowing in Vegas, and hard. Seemed to be a blizard or something like that. Southwest Airline has completly shut down all incoming and outgoing flights from Vegas. And the overpass roads into Vegas are all shut down. People from California are being stopped in Gene's and placed in hotels or sent back to California. WOW! Old timers here in Vegas said the last time it snowed like this was back in 1979 and before that in 1949. Geez, do I notice a 30 year pattern there. Maybe the lake will rise again next year. Could be a wet winter. That would be awesome I think. Or call it Global Warming!!

Spent a short session this morning on stretching my legs, and some upper body. Trying to stay focus on that and will do some core tonight at home with the wife. She always has some awesome abs exercise that she trows out to me.
Good morning all. Worked on the foot last night i.e. cleaning and re-dressing it last night, and the swelling is going down so far. It has interesting colors, but assuming all is well as the pain is diminishing. Have a follow up with the doctor tomorow, and hope that the diagnostics will be good.
Hope everyone else is doing good, and your all training is moving nicely along. Have a great day, and keep it up tri-kids!

At least their is something I can do righ now. Stretching. Foot pain gone down, so was able to spend a short session working on flexibility this morning.
Well, another weekend not doing much, and still recovering.
For you updates, here are two pictures of my foot last Friday. Slowly healing, and I mean very slowly. UGHHH!
Just remember one thing, do not wait if the blister starts to get infected!!
Well, go to go to work, and keep my day going! Wearing flip flops again until the bandage shrinks and I can wear sandals, then shoes.
Happy Monday, and you all have a great day and week!!

December 14
Sleept in late this morning, and still recovering.
Started working on the house and doing some cleaning, then got all the Christmas Presents wrapped, and Linsy going to mail them out when she comes back from her trip.
Doctor called me last night, and informed me that he got the culture back, and I could of picked this bad boy anywhere. Can't pin-point the finger to anything. Just a freak thing!! WOW!! Why did this have to happen to me?
I am going insane, and if anyone can tell me of some sort of exercise that I can do in Flip flops, please do, I am up to any suggestions. GOING CRAZY!! I mean jeez, I just completed an Ironman, then have to stop to nothing for over a month! UGHHHH!!
Hope you all had a great weekend.
December 13
Not much going on this weekend. Had a nasty wind storm, and supposed to get some snow between Sunday night through Tuesday. I know, its Vegas, and those possibilities still exist!! :)
Tonight going to a Chrismas Party from one of my training buddies, and should be a good one. He's one of the main producers for channel 8 news.
Party tonight was a blast, and definitively really glad that we went. Food was supperb, and actually all healty until I got to desert. But since I've been eating better, I couldn't finish my chocolate fudge slice, and the keylime slice. Just too sweet. Can't believe I'm saying this.
Peolple we met, and the kitchen island where we sat at, the new friends we met were just so funny. I actually had stomach ach not from the food, but from laughing so hard. Wife actually told me on way home that she was surprised at some of the jokes I got to place in. If you know me, I have a weird since of humor, probably beeing born overseas, but tonight I was able to have everyone laugh really hard. Great evening, and a nice distraction and pleasurfull evening instead of my foot.
Thank God for a great nights, I'm hitting the sac.
December 12
Today's weather is about 20-60 mph winds and real nasty. Everything being blowd around.
Went to stores and helped wife with some grocery shopping, and then finished Christmas Shopping. Also developped all the pictures from this year, OUCH, that was expensive. A total of 1014 pictures, but Costco was good to us.
Finished Christmas shopping and the decoration around the house, my foot is real sore, and going to watch movies on TV and relax.
Tomorow is Hawaii Ironman on TV. Can't wait.

Short stretching session this morning, and loved it. Had a great time loosening my legs. Hahhhh!!!
Well, got up this morning, and everything was white outside ... It snowed pretty good last night. They predicted 5 - 10 inches depending where you are in Vegas, and that was really cool! I actually loved it, axcept for my left foot where I have a pair of sock and flipper. That got a little cold.
Also updated some newer pictures in my blister picture folder, and that looked better then when it started. Off course, a lot of dead skin growing around there. But in time, we will get back into training for 2009. Guess it just wont start until January. Just some stretching and relaxing for now.
Happy training all, and keep it up. Cheers!!
Here is the 6 days post op on the foot!
