just so tired in the morning.  what is my problem?

last day of ragbrai we rode to burlington.  had the chance to ride up snake alley, "the crookedest street in the world."  front gears got stuck in the middle, had to grind all the way up in 2nd.  the boss rode up it too, what a stud.

swim across iowa update - i have actually swam past chucktown, the town where i work!

nice and easy stretch swim

had a great time on ragbrai.  everyone in our group got into the costume thing which made the ride even more fun.  i think the last day was the best.  of course, with all vacations, it was over too quickly.  it was nice to get into my own dry bed.  and i missed the princesses something awful.

missed the bt crew due to poor phone reception and tiredness.  nettle123 tried her best to get me involved.  sorry everyone.

our group did get a little mention in the paper, however misinformed they were.  we were not from luther college...

from "klien shares his favorite ragbrai outfits" - 2. The riders from Luther College who call themselves “The Cowboys.” They wear those little cowboy hats with straps that little boys like to play cowboy with, some chaps and even six-shooters in their holsters. They holler, “Yee-haw!” a bit when they pass. The girl in the group yodels. If you know these young adults, who fly past too fast to be identified, tell them they have cowboyed up to near the top of the list. But not quite.

yeah, the boss yodeled ;)  and now it's back to work.
