Easy day in the pool working with Brynn. Did a few easy 100 & 200m sets just to stay in the game. Distance is an estimate. Time was not recorded. Felt good.

AM: 5:30 comes early! 6 hrs sleep but felt fine once I was up n at'em. Didn't take water out on the bike... d'oh! Did the Nike+ intervals workout with the bike. Time incl. w/u & c/d.
PM: 5x200m with 30, 30, 45, 60 sec recoveries. Really focused on churning those arms and digging in with the lats.
Double interval day. Probably not the best for me but gotta work it hard before next week's recovery week. Long run tomorrow [7 miles].

8:00 PM - Knees were tickling a little bit. Need to keep up on the ice.
7:30 AM - Didn't feel like I had a good workout but the numbers say I did fine. All a part of getting used to the early morning stuff I suppose.
Got the new car yesterday! Felt very relieved after it was all done. Trying to get used to these AM workouts and I'm glad I'm doing it now 5 weeks before the race!

No nutrition beforehand, definitely not going to make that mistake again!
Other than the fact that I felt like crap because I haven't eaten anything for the last 11 hours... felt pretty good when I was done! I'm glad my warm-up/cool down pace is getting closer to 10:00/mi. Right knee tickled a little bit... gonna go ice and hope that it helps!
