Phew, Didn't want to do this when I started, and didn't want to keep going once I did. Somehow I still had 8 miles in the tank though. Glad this is over, going to R&R for today, tomorrow, and we'll see about Tuesday too.

Impromptu 1,000-yard TT. Just started swimming figuring a workout would come to me and I was doing so well I decided to stick with it and bang out a thousand. :61 slower than my best and finished in 16:12.

Then I did 200 easy focusing on rotating my hips more and I was swimming 1:45s really easily (giving me a boost of confidence for IMKS), then I was going to do 5x100 EBEH but after the 3rd one I was too frustrated with my times (I should be able to do those in the low 1:30s) and I figured it was because my form was starting to falter so I called it a day.

Cool. It works out to where I am almost done with work for the day and it's only 2:15 (and I slept in until 10AM!). Going to go take some comp photos and then hit the pool :)

Just a quick run down the trail and back (so, through those big boy hills, but I wasn't pushing it today). Tried to stay in upper-Z2 as best I could and had to rely on RPE because friggin Garmin can't make a heart strap that's worth a poop.

Well, two outta three reports done ain't bad. It's midnight and I have to get up early one last time to take the kid to school, and then he's done for the summer, and this fall he goes to the school in OUR district, the one where the bus comes and picks him up and takes him for me! What a great concept! Cool--Stanley the Manley (one of the older dudes I ride with on Wednesdays) e-mailed me and asked me to keep him in the loop on the Tuesday night time trials. w00t! +++ YESSS!!! Took the boy to school, did an inspection, did some revisions, did another inspection, took a nap, ate lunch, did some more revisions, pulled and entered comps for 3 reports, took the comp photos, came home, ran 3 miles, ate dinner, showered, watched The Voice with Brynn while I finished those 3 reports and I'm done working just a shade before midnight. The best news: I get to sleep in in the morning. Yeah boyeeeee!

Wednesday Night Weenies! (Okay that's not what they call themselves, just something I drummed up on the way back to the house). Wind out of the South at about two hundred miles per hour. Okay around 20mph, which is quite fast enough thank-you-very-much. We tried the paceline thing for a while and ended up turning around at the Roca Rd exit and high-tailing it back in. I hit 40mph on HWY 77 on that last big downhill before you hit Saltillo Rd. I was pushing 130 watts and going 25 mph on S. 14th St for about a mile, that was kind of cool.

Uggg.... dragging today because I got <6 hours of sleep. No time to nap today as I have appointments throughout the day and am going on the group ride tonight. Tomorrow gets easier though. +++ Well it's unofficially official, we have increased the size of our company team by 50%!
