Yep. Started raining and thundering right as I stepped out to run. But had to get the pre tri training group run in this time. So, I ran. From Fleet Feet, north on multi-use, around rez, and back up the "hill." Ended up cnxing the group run due to lightening.
Well, heck, the gym was closed...power outage.
No strength workout. Gym was closed 'cause power was out. Looks like a power line and pole went down in last night's storm.

ART today.
I think I had too high expectations for my test set. I have only been back in the pool consistently for a few weeks. I am swimming stronger, and, in reality, I think my test set is exactly where it should be. I still think I am swimming faster than last year...even at this time, when I had been swimming through the winter and spring. Today, though, I noticed I really need to work on my distance-per-stroke. I am taking far too many strokes per length. If I can fix that, I bet my overall time will improve even more.
Busy-ish day today with a couple of dr's appts. How did I ever get anything done when I was working full time? I will probably go back to my old job...not sure when...there's "stuff" going on at the office that needs to be resolved first. I would prefer the free-lance life, but I think a "real" job will help when I get myself together and move to Tampa. It's easier to buy a house when there's dependable income.
"Thundery outbreaks" were really severe this afternoon (and continuing), so no MTB for me (excuses, excuses). I did get myself on the trainer. It was really all I could do with my dilated pupils.

Tri training group ride. 4x1 mile intervals with 1 mile easy
Possibly longer, but quick, little brick run with tri training group.
This was my ride after my ride. I was feeling the earlier intervals. Next time, I use the Garmin 'cause I'm just guessing here...
