I'm back baby!
First good morning run of the new season.
Ice on the creek - Here we go.
Started slowly, 6:20 pace, stopped once at turnaround. Did a 5:50 pace on way back and picked it up to 4:50 for 1k as I passed a young woman runner, who was obviously terrorized by my ninja balaklava and the danger words - "good morning". It's dark, it's scary (not really, but it looks like it), there's dogs with big teeth (making monty python bunny gestures) I don't really blame her.
Great run. Was hard to get it going, but now I feel good.
Drills with flippers
WU 200 no flip.

6 x 25 either side glide with back flutter/dolphin return except on last 2
6 x 25 single arm either side

Feeling good and fast. Still have issues with left side breathing and stroke.

Nice little run at White Butte trails.
Incredibly windy and bone-chilling cold, but well sheltered on the trail. I'm glad Starcorp and Lane and I went. It was a great run, Went further than I would have done if I stayed in town.
HRM is wonky again.
Swim class.
1000m time trial at 22:21
Lots of other drills including one where we had to kick 25, do 20 crunches, swim 15, 20 squats, swim 15, 10 pushups and finish with 25 kicks X 5.
Exhausted again.
Sleepless night #3 in a row. This is getting troubling. It didn't help that the wind is blowing 80k/hr out and that all I could think about was my run this morning.
And I got a certain text from someone at 5:55 a.m. Hmmm.
On the plus side, I saw a man yesterday about a certain ink design and, so far it looks like all systems are go and I will have to give up swimming as early as next weekend for a week or so.
Trail run today. If I grow the balls to go out in this wind.

Cyclocross trail. Pushed hard. This is tiring work! Muddy in places. Very hilly. Got a fantastic workout! Harder than anything on the road...except for wind, maybe...did I mention wind was gusting to 70 k/hr?
Yeah. hard work. But fun.
Should do this more often!
Xterra Brick...Extremely windy, but felt god finding my legs after the bike ride. Took about 5 minutes of awkward running and funny gait and then my legs just clicked into gear!
Lots to do today. Don't know where to begin. Still am not getting enough sleep.
I think I feel a little better.
I might go see a man about a horse...or maybe an M-dot thing.

Still feeling Blah.
Went to the pool hoping being horizontal would help.
Felt a little better, just not great.
Cut the workout short.
500 fc
300 paddles, pull

Blah!
Well that was interesting. Good solid workout with Brendan. Kinda tough, but my blood pressure is really low. I had to stop a few times. I'm still kinda shaky. I'm trying to refuel and rehydrate. I didn't sleep very well and I don't think I have enough liquid in me. Not a good way to start the day.

I'm thinking of happier times when I used to dance with the squirrels.
Terrible sleep. Too much going on inside this coconut.
No time to stress about, it's Brendan time!
