50 su 25 pu (arms tired) MS Foam Quads were sore from Tues/Wednesday? I originally wanted to do a 40k TT but since I couldn't push my legs past a certain point I figured I would do a longer ride. HR wouldn't go over 175 due to leg soreness. Kinda surprised and happy with the result at the end. Maybe I can race at 170-175 HR on the bike instead of the 165-170 I was planning as my legs felt fine after the ride.

swim sucked badly as I couldn't get breathing down and felt like i was going to cough up/throw up

drank too much water and woke up several times to go to the bathroom MS Foam went to PT today. going to start ultrasound next week on the knee. Went home and fell asleep for awhile and dragged my butt to the gym. Did a treadmill run that went well till about minute 29 when knee started to hurt bad. Stretched and foam rolled at gym. Tried to swim but couldn't get my breathing down at all and started coughing/feeling like i was going to yack around lab 13 and had to stop at lap 15 as i was coughing up chunks. Did a couple sub 40s 1 lap sprints and then tried to swim another 500....didn't work so I stopped. Just goes to show I can't take a week off from swimming without suffering. Going to do best to swim every other day between no and race. Hopefully no one else dies in my pool!!!!!

MS Foam roller very strong ride to say the least for me. 1:03 40k split.....yeah only if I could pull that off in an olympic distance event. Kept HR between 180-182 whole ride. Forgot GU and didn't drink pre-ride drink (1/2 serving musclemilk, pretty much ran out of fluids, and my mp3 stopped playing by 35mi. Just kept repeating to myself "show me what your made of" and pulled out a great ride, even dropped three people that tried to get on my wheel and were working together to try and catch me. 50 su MS Foam Knee feels ok..... So yeah knee held pretty well I'd say. PR'd the 56mi bike ride by almost 6 minutes. HR was really high at the beginning even though my perceived erxertion was relatively low. 1:41 36mi split so last 20 miles was done in 53:48 (22.3mph). Hell yeah is all I can say. HR was pretty much stuck at 182 over last 20mi. If it went a little higher i'd feel the burn and have to slow down a bit to clear out the LA. Last long ride where I'm going to let my HR go above 170 as I'm going to make this a brick from now on if my knee continnues to hold up.

50 SU MS Foam So someone had to go and die at the pool I swim at thus closing down the pool for an indeterminate amount of time. Ran today with virtually no pain, will be interesting to see how I feel tomorrow on the bike. Decided not to do elliptical and just stretched for the better part of 40 minutes.
