Karen came out and kayaked while did an OWS swim. Forgot to charge the Garmin like a dolt so I just had to do time based. The dock master said the spot I went to was at least a mile out so that was nice. Took 27 minutes out 23 minutes on the way back. Shoulder felt fine afterwards. Feeling confident about the race now. I really am lucky to have such a supportive girlfriend.

Went swimming today at 24hr. Did 20 laps at a comfortable pace. Finished in 17:47 and wasn't winded at all. Think I have breathing rhythm better now with new stroke. Pace is about the same as before but using less energy to do so.

Open water swim lesson with coach Pam. Went for a little bike ride around Lincoln with Karen. Weight measurement was done at 7pm at night instead of morning. Kinda weird to see how much bodyfat can fluctuate throughout the day.

Couldn't sleep last night for some reason. Off day today spent going to physical therapist and podiatrist. Slept most of the day as I didn't get much for sleep last night.

think the new rim tape hopefully fixed the problem. Inflated tires to 95% max pressure and no flats. Kept RPM's over 100 for the entire time and did a little speed work. Having inflated tires was nice and added some speed. Feeling ready to go for Saturday. Hoping to do most of ride in upper zone 2.
