I wasn't too sure I was going to make it out for an hour, but a run to Caulfield park, 2 laps around and back filled in my time very nicely. Didn't watch my HR too closely, while it 'hurt' more to run at a faster pace, it was also kind of refreshing. My hip flexors weren't too happy about running in general, nor my ITBs. Off I stretch.

Eh, I piked on this morning's ride. Part laziness, part unorganised. I do hope to get either an hours swim or run in this afternoon or both. Right after I unpack my apartment!! ___ I did manage to unpack my apartment, so for the most part I am organised for the coming week. The problem was I had a headache all day that I could not shake. Will try and get out there for something tomorrow.

Distance is a guess given that I've not yet replaced my speedo. Rode up St Kilda Rd, lots of cyclists this morning and one particularly lazy individual decided to draft off me, every time I turned back to see what the traffic was doing, I could only see him. I urged him to pass me and when he did he flew off into the distance. Why sit behind a weaker rider. It p*sses me off.

I've decided to do Relay for Life with a few of my other club members. It's an 18 hour relay done in teams of about 10. The aim is to raise money for the Cancer Council's research, education and support programs. It appeals because I have friends whose lives have been touched by cancer, it's also a good opportunity to celebrate the fact that many of us are healthy enough to be able to participate.

Hot, hot, hot. I was probably a little nuts running after windtrainer, because it's still about 31C and the sun went down a while ago. By all means the run did suck a little.

I was running a little late for this session. Took it pretty easy for a few reasons, first session back, hot and already dehydrated & keen to have enough energy for a run afterwards. Or you could just say I was slack.

What's the deal with Channel 9 broadcasting Survivor: Cook Islands at 9:30pm rather than the usual 7:30pm timeslot?? The finishing time is WELL past my bed time and thus this morning while I woke before my 5:30am alarm, I just couldn't get out of bed. The utter exhaustion is back, with a vengence! Or really I just have to make sure I get to bed earlier. The other reason I missed a run this morning was because it was blowing a gale outside and I wasn't prepared to do battle on my return run. Will go to windtrainer tonight and perhaps get a run in afterwards, providing it's not too hot (currently 34C) and I'm not too dehydrated.

And finally the race report is up. Hopefully without too many typos! Moving update: I'm almost done, that is pretty much everything I own is in my place. There is however no power or gas (should be on today or tomorrow) and I need some boy genes to help me put together my newly purchased bed base. This will be done on Sunday afternoon, so in the meantime I'm living with the parentals and will spend some quality time over the weekend unpacking. Oh yeah, this would want to be my final move for a very long time!!
