I'm just back from my bike fit. I have above average flexibility, but tightness in my upper back. Apparently my hip strength is laughable. My ass is lazy, in that my glutes don't engage or when they do they're pretty slow to turn on. I tend to slump in my lower back region when sitting, but my core isn't actually that bad. A few things to work on indeed.

Lifted my seat post 2cm - I can hardly touch the ground - handle bars were lifted too. Riding back to work from the physio felt really good. I'm due to see him again in three weeks, but I absolutely HAVE to do the strength exercises he's set me before we can progress.

Lots of running around doing chores on a day off. No cycling/running time, though I did manage to book a bike fit appointment with a physio for Thursday. I had one just before IM, which in hindsight was poor timing. No major changes were made due to the fact I was about to spend 7 hours on a bike. So it's time for a revisit and hopefully minimise the back pain I'm experiencing.

**Distance is a guess** Hilly run along the MTB track. Running in the bush/forest makes a pleasant change. The hills really get the HR going!

Walked part of the course we ran on Saturday. Got to enjoy the views a little more!

A better go at the track, this time with more success/confidence on the bike. Didn't hurt my back at all.

A fun run on Mt Buller eh? Possibly the hardest & funnest 'run' I've done.

For the first 30+mins it was uphill. Up to the fire hut at the Summit then undulating/downhill back to the finish line.

The ascent and views from the top were breath taking. And I quite enjoyed the cross country feel/terrain to the run although turns out I'm pretty slow on steep descents too!

Attempted a little track that certainly had some challenging aspects out the side of the settlement.

World of frustration. The plan was to ride up Mt Buller from the Sawmill settlement. Unfortunately an hour of pain in my lower back was all I could handle and I didn't make it to the top.

I'm going to look at another bike fit session. I need to be able to ride without pain. Especially after signing up for Around the Bay yesterday.
