Run Casie, Run!

I talked doing Melbourne IM over with Mr T and it didn't go down well. Truth be told he's not overly happy about my career change, it's a little better now that I'm more available (ie the study has dropped off) but I wasn't prepared to commit to something else that will have a pretty big impact on our lives, even if for a relatively short time. I need his support 100%. Whether I get it will be something else...
IM was hard enough the first time when it was just me, I know how selfish the sport (and I!) can be. Hands down I want to do another IM. I've never doubted that. To race in my home town would be freakin' amazing. To ride & run that course, just awesome. One day, just not next year. I'll be back volunteering and cheering and giving out hugs :)
Instead I put my name on the short list for the Shepparton HIM in November. I'm sure I could swing a 70.3. ;) But I might not make mention of that quite yet, no spot yet. May have to investigate stealth training :)

Sweat fest. I finally took along bike pants. So much comfort. Just struggling with nutrition/having enough energy at the end of the day to train. I did take a couple of glucose tablets that took the fuzzy edge off, but I probably could have done with a couple more during the session.
Cals 250.

Lap of Albert Park. As we sat during the day I could feel my calves and hips tightening from yesterday's run. Running today wasn't ideal, but I have spin class tomorrow night and I wanted a good start to the week.
