3 hour run on 2 hours of nutrition. DUH!! I felt pretty good for about 2.5 hours and then shuffled for about 20 minutes and did all I could to hang on the last 10-15 minutes. Not sure if my issues were all nutrition, certainly could be lack of fitness as a number of long runs have been cut short.

Another Tuesday gone. Got home from work, changed into running clothes and was locating satelites on the Garmin when I got sucked into yard work. It needed to be done but I missed another Tuesday.

Ridges Resort 5k swim
Swim: My time was only 3 minutes off what I had hoped for and I felt better than I had expected to. My goal time assumed absolute perfect sighting and taking the most direct route. 3.24 miles in a big lake makes it unlikely that I swam all that straight....all that to say that I'm happy with my time. Regarding cardio fitness, very easily stayed Z1 and low Z2 from start to finish...easy peasy pumkim cheesy! I could use some strength endurance, but that said, most of the muscle fatigue was after I would have been done with the LP swim anyway. Time to get my swim on...no need to taper the swim so I'm about to have some extra time.
Bike: Nothing like starting at 12:30 on a hot day. Legs never really woke up and felt sluggish. Easy Z1/Z2 and nutrition worked well.
Run: didn't happen. Day just went too long. The swim started a bit late, the bike was slower and 8 miles longer than expected and still had a 2 hour drive home. It was an easy decision to bag the run.
