A fair enough workout in the pool today. It was another episode of arriving with 30 minutes until closing time, so I had to get the most bang for my buck. A strong 1500m swim was just the ticket. Anything under 29 is where I hope to be most of the time, and 28 is doing very well. "29 is doing fine, 28 is doing great." I don't know what's gotten into me.

I decided to give it a go on the treadmill today. The knee felt fine during the run, but I have the same usual post-run soreness. I want to rest it, but I don't want to get totally out of shape for running. Additionally, I want there to be at least a little pathology when I go to see ortho on Friday (as strange as that my sound, I suspect it may make it more likely to get the MRI). BTW, get your MVC championship T-shirts now...we're going dancin'!!!!!! Go Bulldogs!!!!!!!

I had hoped to get up early to workout, but sleeping in on vacation made more sense.

Friday - March 7

No workout today, as we drove to KC for a mini-vacation at the Great Wolf Lodge. Pools and water slides galore (indoor, of course). This was actually a lot of fun. The girls loved it.
