It is snowing .....again!  I am so tired of winter!!!  I think my winter blues are back.  :-(  Planning on swim practice tonight, but I may stay home due to the snow.  If so, I should bike again or do something. 

Lots of snow and roads were bad, so no swimming tonight.

Happy Groundhog Day!!  IM training plan starts today - so fitting.  Following the competive "Be Iron Fit" plan again.  It starts off slow - I'm already ahead of the plan, so I'll just keep it up and then start to build.  I am hoping to kick up the intensity this year and really push it.  Sub 12:00:00 here I come!!

In the office at work today.  Run planned with Simon this afternoon and swim tonight. 

Simon cancelled, so I went to the gym for weights and a short brick.

miami whitewater park - snow covered trail

Met Tom for a run at Miami Whitewater park.  We thought they might have cleared the bike/run trail.  Nope.  We ran it anyway.  It was 8 miles of running in the snow.  We then hit some roads that were cleared for the last 2 miles.  Slow pace, but what a great workout.  I have talked Tom into running the Flying Pig marathon.  He has not ran a marathon in quite a few years, but used to run a sub 3:00:00.  Wow!  I hope he keeps pushing me and I gain some speed. 

Went to the gym this afternoon and they were closed due to no electricity.  Weird.  All the other businesses around there had power.  Oh well, did some errands and have plenty of time before the football game.

In honor of Abbie's abs project, I posted pics in a new album that will track my progress with my project.  Yes, Bob & Abbie the pics are posted!!!  :-)  LOL!!  I'm not sure how long this album will be posted, but it is up now.  Lots of work needs to be done to reach my goal.  This week I have not done too well.  Next week is the first week of offical training.  That will motivate me to do better.  Another day of snow covered roads.  Still no school in our district.

I am so tired of this snow and ice!!  I did go into the office for work today, but left early.  Went to the gym this afternoon and will go to swim practice tonight.  Legs are sore today from the leg exercises I did yesterday.  Soreness = strong, sexy, turn heads legs!!
