5k race. My first 5k race.

Asthma and allergies were bad. This hurt. Running a race in cherry blossom season is NOT fun. The trees may be pretty, but they are horrible for allergies/asthma. I still need lots of speed work training.
2nd place overall female.

Another day in DC.  Had a great evening last night cooking dinner at my sister's house.  She loved the shrimp dish.  It is going to be sad to go home Tuesday.  I am going to miss Hannah.

Morning swim in a meter pool.  Laura and I plan on taking Hannah (3 1/2 weeks old) on her first shopping trip to the mall today.  We need to get the girl strated off right.  Run planned for later today.

WOW!  Taking care of a newborn is a LOT of work.  Rain today changed evening workout plans a bit.
