My training for Ironman #10 (Louisville) starts Saturday! I am working with a coach that I am paying, so I need to follow the training plan. I want to get my money worth and actually use the coach (not still self coach myself while having a coach). I am actually going to follow the plan and see what happens. Big goals - sub 10:45 and KQ. Of course the number 1 goal is to still have fun and enjoy the experience! ;-)

So very happy to live in San Diego. :-) Sorry - I really don't mean to rub it in to all my friends living with the cold and snow.

I am STILL adjusting to the new job. It seems to be taking forever! I am assigned the lead on two studies. One is a Phase I trial and one is a Phase II trial. I am excited about the work, but really don't know what to do. I am dependent on a co-worker that is assigned to work with me on these studies to walk me through the processes step-by-step. I am not used to not knowing what I am doing at work. Frustrating. I hope I can pick up on things. UGH! I feel like I am a useless member of my department.

Hill run - all roads with Monica at lunch at work.

I start working with a coach on Feb 1st. I am really excited to work with her. My focus last year was on doing well with the double iron. I coached myself and things worked great. This year, I want to PR in Louisville. I need to increase my speed to do this. My body is still in the double iron zone, so having a coach will help push me out of this. I have been too comfortable with training. It is time to push some limits.
