5k with the Longview Run Club. Figured it would be good to have a baseline 5k. And since they are doing this every Thursday night, I hope to see good improvement since I just started running agin a few weeks back. Fairly pleased with the effort considering my running background for the year and the fairly challenging course. Pretty hilly course right next to my house. Starts at the corner of Dennard/Dennard and runs to the end of Maxey, hitting up the horseshoes of Delmora and Shady.

Wednesday night club ride. Legs were quite tired tonight from running during lunch. Good effort by the group tonight. Kept a nice steady pace. HR monitor is still dead. Need to do something about it...

Base riding on the tri bike after our quarterly visit from Buckner. Dodged the rain. Good speed considering this was done at a perceived casual effort. HR strap has completely crapped out so that the monitor doesn't even think a signal is being produced.

Club ride. To Marshall via 968/2625/43. Came back 154/Airlite/449. Steady riding mostly. Surprised by this pace. Hammered pretty hard to finish this ride with Guck. Great way to get the legs moving again. I've felt really weak on the bike the past few days.
