What a difference a month (or 7 weeks) makes. Here are my paces from the race 7 weeks ago and today's race. The courses were different. In fact, today's course was easier, especially the bike (no headwind, no big hill). I'm back in the BOP, "just finishing", after scratching my way to BOMOP 7 weeks ago before letting my training go.
SJIT paces:
Swim: 2:29 /100m
Bike: 19.13 mph
Run: 9:55 min/mile
FIT paces:
Swim: 2:56 /100m
Bike: 18.38 mph
Run: 10:49 min/mile

Went to Be and Aine's first 5k to support them. I was sneaky. :) I drove them there and when they took off, I ran back to the car to pull the signs and flowers I had gotten for them out of the trunk. They were really happy to see the signs and get the flowers. I cheered for them as they passed too and they both had a great race.
