Okay ... I'm sick. Like fever sweats blowing-out-my-ass headache bodyache sick.
Perhaps more significantly, I don't even want Pop Tarts sick. That's ambulance time, right there!
If I'm still dying tomorrow, and/or have failed to reach a new high score in Galaxy Balls, I'll go see a doctor.

Okay, okay, story time with pic linkies.
I am SO in love with my swim coach, the one who's planning/overseeing my training for the Lombok-Bali Straits swim ... he called me tonight, first chance we've had to catch up since Melbourne, and he is SO YUMMY. He's also the head of my team who will support the swim logistically.
DID I MENTION HE IS SO YUMMY!
Current and former open-water and pool record holder. The man can fuggin' SWIM and has the biggest heart for social causes I know, especially in Indonesia.

And our names rhyme
eye-flutters ...
This is he and I on a boat late last year. Of course I'd been swimming!
I also went to the chiropractor today, and had a massage. So. Badly. Needed.
All in all, an excellent day of training.

There isn't a Dancing With Drag Queens activity category ... :)
Not gussied up, exactly, but it was clean and wasn't sports clothes.

A marvelous contestant! I just adore the outfit, and all those polka dots. Plus, she's cute.

These were the FINALISTS of the halftime drinking contest ... absolutely amazing, amongst all these big, brawny, beer-swilling Aussies, this little half-slip of an Indonesian boy and a tiny cute Swedish girl outdrank them all! This last round was who could drink a beer through a straw the fastest ... the boy won. I think he is that kind of sucking boy ... although it was very close.

Funny thing is, I spoke with both of them after the whole show, and they were pretty sober!
The winner of this week's drag show round with the emcee--both lovely ladies.

The best finale of all!

HAPPY EASTER

with hope of renewal, eggs, bunnies, chocolate, and all that. ![]()
I "accidentally" slept in until nearly 2pm (yay!) so I had a lovely church all by myself with God, and read the stories of resurrection in the Gospels. Is it just me, or is there some HILARIOUS stuff in there? Like in Mark, when Jesus appears to the disciples again, he essentially asks, "You got anything to eat?" That's exactly what I would say! So ... I laughed, I cried, I got filled with hope. And then, off to be with family and get filled with FOOD!
And its aftermath ... my sister even gives me toilet paper. How nice!

It was an astonishingly hot day, even for Bali, so we escaped to the air-conditioned coolness of a Japanese restaurant that gives chilled towels. My sister has a broken finger, too, so we're calling her The Mummy right now.

And our beloved lookalike adopted brother Diamond!!! (His name is Desmond, but of course, me and my propensity for nicknames ... and he is so precious to me. :) )
