Barefoot sand run up Jimbaran Bay and back while Kingsley swam across. HE DIDN'T SWIM FASTER THAN I CAN RUN TODAY HAHAHAHA!

It was a great run. I can really feel the weight loss. One of the lifeguards paced me for a while and we were going pretty fast.

I can't believe Kingsley was actually willing to do a swim workout with me (then again, for him it mostly constituted fiddling with his goggles and lollygagging at the wall waiting for me) ... time includes lots of fun taking silly as well as swimming videos in between sets.

Holy crap this was hard. I was running along the waterline on the beach barefoot at high tide, so the choices were: run in ankle-deep water, run in that mulchy sand where your feet sink in at each step, or in steeply-sloped soft sand. I did all three and damn this was one serious running strength workout.

I was also trying to keep up with Kingsley Bugarin who was swimming across the bay. Pretty miffed he swims faster than I run! (So what that he's one of history's greatest swimmers and I'm pretty much the world's crappiest zombie death shuffler--er, runner). But see, I ran AROUND the bay and he "only" had to swim straight across and back. Yeah, that was it.

Aquajoggie out to Kingsley after the run as he was coming in from the swim. Felt great after running on a hot beach but my calves were cramping.

MS3: 6x100 @2:20, 75 EZ/25 sprint (this REALLY sucked by #3).

Today was like yesterday except worse. At least it was me this time keeping my brother from killing people. He was screaming at the top of his lungs in the middle of a bank. It was awesome.

No idea how I got the workouts in. Well, it's midnight and I just finished cycling and haven't even showered yet, and I was up really early. That's how.

One of Mutti's hearing aids is in for repair--and she lost the other one. She is completely deaf without them--there goes her lifeline--and we cannot find it, nor her backups, anywhere. Vanished. I think she had a brain lapse and put them all in a "safe place."

So she was in a lathered panic all day. It was so sad to watch. We really tried.
