Off to the airport! Disaster of the day (there's always a last-minute one): Fell heavily onto my knee and wrist onto MARBLE. Nice. Knee seems okay (Pa's sock = ice pack holder!); wrist doesn't hurt too much to move but there's a hard bruised knob on it. Eh, whatever it is, it gets dealt with Sunday ;)

Mutti and I had a wonderful conversation over dinner about the race; she simply said, "Just take it as it comes and have fun." Oooh a bit sniffly teary there. Perfect wisdom from a wondrous woman.

MS2: 2x200 build to 90%. 1-pull 2-swim

YES! My training graph is a left-hand middle finger, with a thumb, even. :)

Something is very, very, wrong and the universe is out of whack.

This is all I'm bringing to Japan (plus bike box).
