holy crap, batman.

i'm not exactly sure where this speed is coming from.  i did this run around a track so the garmin is not misleading me here.  it was 48 degrees and windy. i think i run better in the wind because i lean into it therefore i'm letting gravity pull me through (chi running technique?)and then i stand pretty tall so the wind can 'push' me when it's a tail wind.  felt good during but i struggled to run a 9:40 cool down mile and my hamstrings are VERY pissed off at me right now.:(  oh well.

follow up visit with the chiroguy today. i will see the xrays that he saw when i said i was rotated here, out there, twisted here and outta balance there. not exactly sure how i feel about chiropractic medicine.  i realize life in motion is better when you are properly aligned but do i need to see someone 3x a week to accomplish that?  i just wanted my rib back in place, not a whole freaking work up! 


chiro update, i will NOT be visitng him 3x per week, SORRY.  i learned that my neck is all screwed up, well i coulda told him that, i feel on my head form 25 feet on a gym floor when i was in high school, damn cheerleaders.  btw, that might explain why i am the way i am today:)

my RHR is coming down nicely, yea!

i ran a known 3 mile route with the GPS off. not quite sure where i got the energy, i felt like i was going pretty fast but figured that i was feeling that way because of fatigue and soreness, i guess i was wrong. and now it's a repeat of chicago, i can't quit coughing! a few more runs like this and the lungs should finally be clear! YEA! i'm ready for you Jean!

thinking im gonna have to do the shamrock mary, i guess i love pain...or maybe i just love fitphd and need a fix:) so i'd better try to run today, i'd hate to make my next run the detroit half a week and a half away!

GET THIS- i ordered a chicago marathon jacket from new balance, they said they were in stock.  i received an email saying "sorry, they're sold out, we will give you a 100 store credit."  that's fine and dandy yet i paid 115 for the jacket, i email back stating this and the dude says no, you get your refund AND 100 store credit!  WTF!  SWEET!  isn't that CRAZY? YEA TRIXIE:)

i will be doing something today, i'm just not sure what it is yet.

so far it appears that the something i was referring to was a 3 hour nap.  damn, i musta needed that!

went to get a massage today and i have a rib out, i'm not sure why (coughing?) but other than that, everything's doing fine!  there will still probably be another yellow day (or two).
