and house work both since 8:30 this morning. :( damn i'm a good wife. :)
house cleaning, garage cleaning and basement straightening (you can't 'clean'a basement) that's all i have planned for the day. can you tell we're having guests this weekend?
Hr is coming down, took it today while eating lunch, i know it's not the right time to take the RESTING HR but i did it out of curiousityand it was 53 so if i was actually RESTING it should be right about where it needs to be. maybe i was still recovering from the race. :)

all on a treadmill:( the first few miles were at 9:05's and they felt kinda crappy (my legs were sore from yesterday's stretching) so i thought i'd speed it up and see if that helped, it did. the last mile was 8 even, felt very winded at the end which is unusual for a longish run, but then again they usually aren't that quick at the end. one more 20 miler next week and it's smooth sailing from there. HR was 135 at the end, i felt like it shoulda been 200.
i have to double check but i think there is a 12-15 mile run on the schedule today.
on a side note, i just started taking endurox pills, they supposedly lower HR and increase lactate threshold. since i've started taking them my RHR has increased pretty significantly(5 beats-which is 10%). i'm not sure if it's the pills or me, i can't believe that if it's increased because of hard workouts that after a week my RHR wouldn't return to normal. any help out there? anyone ever tried these magic pills?

don't know yet see below.
check race report, it's a guess until the official splits are in, but i'm very happy with them, i raced hard and feel great right now, my last mile and a half were sub 7 min/mile pace! where did that come from? i thought that was gonna put me in 3rd overall as i passed a girl with a few hundred meters left, but it put me in fourth, but first in my age group, and it was the championship of the series, so i'm pleased.
holy crap, SPARTANS WIN
WOLVERINES LOSE &
LIONS BEAT THE PACKERS!
what a beautiful weekend.

on the trainer:
15 min warm up 90+cad fairly easy gear
30 min workout 80 cad hardest gear i have(low resistance)
15 minute cool down same as warm up, 90+ cadence is my comfort zone. heart rate never went above 90, i would've guessed it higher but then i woulda been wrong.
core
GOOD LUCK RACING EVERYONE!
