felt damn fine.
it doesn't matter what kinda car i drive or the ice around my neck...
muscles feel tired but pretty good, it's the left AT that is hurting a bit, it was sore sunday but it didn't feel a thing when i ran sat. must just be a little schwollen. i will either bike or elliptical later today to replace the hour of running that is on my taper schedule. i'll take her easy and she'll be good as new.

i have a new problem in the pool, i can NOT get WARM!! i freeze my ass off the whole time, any suggestions?
uppers, damn did that run this weekend take my mojo. but it will make me sooper strong in a few days.

the garmin says i walked a LOT, 1:01:42 of walking for a grand total of 3.62 miles, so the remaining mileage was all run, the last 2 miles were 8:30's - not so bad, now i know why i'm sore.:)

had quite a few walk breaks. i will post the walk and run times/splits all that crap when i retrieve mr garmin from the car, which is 3 blocks away-NOT GONNA HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON! these legs are TOAST!
learned a bit about my body today, seems that when i don't feed it pb&j during ultras, it gets pissed-seriously pissed. had about 3 miles from 23-26 when i walked almost the entire time cause i was sooper dizzy if i started to run, got to an aid station and stuffed my pockets full and fed like a goat until i felt better and viola-trixie was good as gold. lesson learned. all in all it was a good day though, 35, misty, and windy as all hell, 20 mph sustained winds on the lakeshore and gusts to 40 was what the race official was saying. i think i was top 10 in chicks and top 40 overall with 180 racers. happy times. i'm ready for the sunmart fiddy mile, now the umstead...that's another story:)
note to self...when applying tiger balm to your legs, do not put your finger in your ear to scratch it. WOW does that feel wierd.
