First real brick. Feeling pretty tired and didn't take puffer. Super fast on the flats (34.5kmh avg to the highway). Had breathing trouble when I started the climb so I took it easy. Still had 29. kmh avg at halfway point! Came home via Paret hill. Rode around block once too.

Test rode the Madone 4.7 Nice bike. Like it better than the Ruby. Can actual;ly get the 5.1 in my size too for only an extra $150!

28 C. Still a bit HO.LOL. Made myself run anyway. Was bad and didn't walk today. Pushed fairly hard and FINALLY got back to a 6 min KM. Still have a long way to match last year's PR of 26:17 though. No HRM.

Special PR today: First time ever running in my crop top with my tummy showing. Not a beautiful sight but not bad for my age LOL...

May 14

Staying home from work and sleeping today. My side is still tender. Don't know if I should see the doctor or not. 9:30pm Feeling MUCH better. Slept at least 4 hours today and took it easy. Took son to baseball game and came home feeling like I should go for a run. But I didn't. This week is an easy week. I will run in the morning. Maybe get up at 5:45 tomorrow since I slept so well today. I decided my body really needs me to take more recovery time so I am going to go hard one week and take is easier the next. So my hard week schedule will be as above, and my easy will be something like this. Sun - bike Mon - rest Tues - run 5k Wed - swim Thurs - bike fri - rest sat - swim, run 5k (no long run)

I feel so tired and crappy today. Must be overtraining and/or messed up my insides with that ride on Sunday. I'm taking tomorrow off work to get some sleep and regroup. Ugh. (No run or swim today)
