Rode to school in the am, then did errands and rode to the Y to swim, then to Jesse's baseball game. Got home at 8:30pm.

First group ride. Stayed in middle to front of pack. Climbed well. Hard work though.
Hmmm, well my ride today had me in Zone 4-5a for 1 1/2 hours. That's 85-95% of Max HR. I looked all through Joe's Tri Bible and can't find any workout that suggests that I spend THAT much time in the upper end of my HR zones, unless I get into the Muscular Endurance advanced workouts. Ah well. Hope I can handle it on a regular basis. Just think how strong my legs will get. Maybe I'll be able to work a little easier once I get my new bike! :) :)

Test rode a Ruby today. 48cm was a perfect fit. Very nice ride, smooth, fast. Forgot to turn on the garmin. Argh.
Tough decision but I chose not to run today. I was really looking forward to a 6km run today but my legs are still feeling a little stiff and sore and I'm planning to do the the 70km Sunday ride tomorrow (B Group) and I need to be in top form. IF I feel ok tomorrow night, I might try the run then but that's unlikely. :) :)

Rest day and thank god for that - my legs are killing me today. For some reason, it's the inside of my thighs. I have NO idea why. They've never hurt after riding like that. Whatever. Just hope they feel better tomorrow. I have swim planned for sure, and hopefully at least a bike test ride.

Running at school. Jesse ran with me for first 3 km. Shins a bit sore today.
