Swam around at the campsite beach a little. Water is murkier and weedier than Okanagan Lake. Very freaky. I'm back to being afraid again. LOL. Don't really know how far I went - it was mostly just paddling around getting used to it.

Heading out to Osoyoos at 9am. Hope to swim later today but won't do a run - shins sore again. Will try to follow plan fairly closely this week. It'll be nice to train in new surroundings! Looks like the weather will be cooler - 25C ish.

July 26

Day 2 swim if I can fit it in. Update: Too busy packing and running errands and I needed a true rest day anyway. (Is it a rest day if you're working your butt off all day???) I'll try to fit in a run tomorrow morning and then I'm heading out to Osoyoos to go camping for a week. I'll update my training blog when I get home next Saturday unless I have access to computer at some point.
