GWAH!!!! STUPID CHAIN!!!
I'm riding uphill this morning and my chain falls off and gets jammed between the cogs and the wheel. So I walked the bike home (thank god the freewheel worked) and caught the bus. My usual 20min ride ended up taking me two hours!!! ;_;
Out we go. Tim thought we were doing a negative split - But I'm sure Shannon said to do a "Pacing" excercise. So I guess this is a negative split! 15mins out on the dot. The timer said we had 1m46 left on the clock when we got back to the starting point (we didn't start from our front door because the hill on either side is WAY too steep!!!

The girl guides and I got lost in the city on Friday night. The other leader (who was meant to be supervising me and my counterpart) gave us the wrong meeting place. We met at the botanic gardens and they met at South bank. How rude. So when we realised we were the only ones there - we made up our own game. The girls had to find 10 native animals in the park as a group. :) They did in the dark! it was great. They were regular bindi irwins!!!
Then we split them up on a race (was going to put this as adventure racing!) and we had to find all the items necessary to be a princess (poison apples - Frogs to kiss - a ball gown - a street names after a princess) The girls did it!
So while amanda and I will debrief our other leader later - the girls really did have fun! We throughly enjoyed it! :)
Okay - FIRST of all I'd like to say training and work have made it VERY difficult to chat to my beautiful mentees! You know I love yas! I'll be back I promise! I've set some time aside tonight to read through the pages of entries! EEEP!
NOW as for my training - Well my coach really believes in me and she's been pushing me hard these last couple of weeks. (Look, I'm doing more than my planned training!)
Tried to go to the pool TODAY (wednesday) instead of the mondays. Mainly because on Mondays now the pool is full and on Wednesdays the pool is quiet. Also I've now got to stay late on Mondays and Tuesdays leaving Sundays and Wednesday the only days to get a swim in. YAY... And since I didn't want to give up my day of rest - I went swimming on a wednesday.
Up until the last 10mins of the session I had the whole lane to myself. It was EEERIE because there was a cover over half the pool and every time I looked to my left - There was BLACKNESS
On the upside - I'm finally starting to breath on my left side!!!! WOW!!!!
