SHERWOOD FOREST RUNNERS TIME TRIAL
The Vision tri team turned up to run a "course" only to find out that we were actually racing!!! WHAT????
Okay - mild panic attack. At least I wore tri shorts today and not my pearl izumi cycling knicks. Cycling jersey stays. It's freaking freezing.
I signed up for the 4km event with the aim of beating 30mins...
To the tune of THIS MOMENT by DISTURBED I pounded the grass and bitchument all the way to the 4km turn around point. Then blasted my way back to the finish. MAJOR stitch coming down the straight. O_O
Absolute shock when the timers yelled out my time. I looked at them and said "What the ****????" Wasn't expecting that!
FH was waiting for me at the finish. He'd completed the 4km run as well - in a nice time of 18mins as well. WOOO!
Can't really give a distance here - It was a 25m pool and pretty much all of it was swimming drills so you lost count pretty quick...
Good news: I Can Tumble turn!
