Ran with the trekking poles the entire time...Not put away either in my hands or arms practiced using them ups and downs and on the few flats there were! Beautiful trail and this was great practice this weekend...never used the poles. Now my new vest came and i though S/M meant small med like normal but its small and the bottom latch doesnt adjust and i need to send it back...hoping to find it's replacement and have it by thrusday so next saturday trail I can have the poles and practice putting them into the pack thingy while out there. They do slow you down but I think they will be helpful with my knee...I also thought maybe to bring just one? not sure what to do yet.

Stayed with Heather as this was her Marathon Maniac qualifier...sprinted ahead at the last min to get her photo crossing!! Not only did she become a maniac today she is running another tomorrow!! Oh i got 3rd in Overall Master Female!! And yes there were more then 3!! only 7 but hey thats top half!

super slow walk on the dreadmill- didnt break a sweat but wanted to keep my legs moving instead of sitting on the couch watching a movie

Been running errands all morning-now just gonna walk again on the dreadmill and watch a movie...switching into the asic from the conquest - need to figure which shoe I want - I will bring both though

dreadmill watching dallas buyers club.......walked at 4.1-4.2 and played some with the incline but not much...trying to figure out what shoe i want for Zion and messing around with inserts....still have that stupid little toe that hits the side of any shoe while I walk and its the one after Zion even taped that looked like a grape was stuck to it! Hoping to not have that this time around? Not sure what to try or do
