October 12

Took advantage of recovery week and did nothing but go to my son's football game today.  He's starting kicker and had some great kicks, including an on-side kick that our team recovered.  And then we fumbled on the next play.  Oh well.  

October 11

Thanks for all the inspires.  I didn't get on a computer while in Chicago.  I had a great time and had a great race.  My logs have been updated now.  Feeling pretty good today.  Walking is fine;  sitting down and standing up or going down stairs is still a little challenging.  Will most likely walk the dogs a lot this week and then figure out my training for the rest of the year.  The rest of October may be a "do what I feel like" month.  November will be busy for me - spectating at IMFL, my daughter's 16th birthday, hopefully going to IMAZ to volunteer and register for next year, an out of town soccer tournament over Thanksgiving weekend.  Yikes!  I've got a 1/2 marathon the end of January so I'll have to get back to training at some point.  :)  I also need to find the pool again and say hello to my bike again.
