Out to Marlborough and back... strong headwind on the way out, but nice tailwind on the way back.
*Should have toned it down a bit since it was so hot and I was running right after.
HOT HOT HOT!
I couldn't get my HR to come down. I walked a total of 4 minutes.
Things I learned today on my race rehearsal:
1) If it is hot outside, hold back on the bike. I need the energy for the run.
2) I don't like the front hydration option. For IM 70.3 RI I'll stick to bottles.
3) I need to drive the bike route sometime before the race and take note of the hills. If it is hilly, then a) stick to low gears only on the hills & b) hold back on the bike.
