wind chill was 24 degrees, so we hit the UWGB trails (Scott, Mike, and Eric) for two loops then finished the next 4-5 miles on the road. Didn't quite hit our goal pace for this trail section, as it's pretty hilly and the terrain is soft, but it's good for the legs. Had enough left to finish the last 4 in the 7.20's, but was feeling it on the last one...glad we did the trails...windy out there.

I don't know if my HR has ever been this low...there are times my legs are tired, but my HR rarely ever goes up to 150 any more...guess that's a good thing. i know it will be up there on may 2oth!

3 mile warm up 7.35 ish
6 miles (.75 hard .25 recovery) averaged 6.46 for each mile...the hard section was about 6.20's...not great, but what's to be expected two days after a 22 mile run and one day after EASTER:-)

Executive Edge Session at WRFC

Really enjoyed the workout...felt good at the end...really helps get the legs feeling like 6.52 is actually a doable pace...lots of concrete today...may pay for that tommorrow. Exec Edge results - lost 6% body fat, lost 8 lbs, dropped cholesteral, RHR at 48 (down from 62), and all areas of fitness improved...I'll take it...need more fruits and vegetables and to incorporate strength training...plan on doing 12 oz/ curls all summer so Gorder can see me drunk;0)

Brisk morning with light winds...E and I hit the Prevea Training Run...FRT out an back...good effort all around. 5 mile warm up in the upper 7's and 17 big ones ranging in the 7.20's. Held it together nicely today...realy surprised how low the HR was...and the 140 average is with a 170 mile one, so it was probably under 140. Nice.

Brewers beat the Cards 6-0...Josh, Joe, Josh, and Jason...great time...tailgating, etc.

Tough one today...hit the MBT again, looking for flat with no wind, and soft terrain. 5 mile warm up at 7.40 (HR sub 140) then 7 miles at 1/2 mary race pace...i was hoping for 3-4 miles in the 6.30's and 3 in the 6.20's, but I just didn't have it...Averaged 6.43...and didn't really have anything left after that.

Weight is coming down nicely...miles are getting up there, so the base is there...looking for a good recovery run tomorrow then a solid 22 on Saturday...Who's friggin idea was it to use the ADVANCED Marathon Training Plan this year?

Scott and Mike out on a nice morning...sun was even coming up aruond 6 am. Still have some lingering effects from DL...really concerned about getting through Thurs/Saturdays workouts, those WILL be a challenge for me.
